New Friend!

Last night was swimming (missed last week) and it was great. I always have the best time with my trainer she knows just what to do to keep me motivated thanks Donna! I meet a new friend through a local walk up group and we meet for coffee the other night and we were talking about our goals (she wants to set out on her own weight loss journey) and what we needed to do to be motivated. I was quite impressed with her attitude and also her goals (some are the same as mine - white water rafting!) and just what she wants out of life. We were talking and she asked me what gym I go to and I told her and she was like I am joining that gym - so one thing led to another and she is now officially a member - so starting tonight we are going to go to bodypump together and Zumba on Sunday. I have to say having a buddy will be nice and someone to keep me accountable is better - as I know I have been slacking a lot lately and not staying on point but also it is great to have someone who gets it. I posted a couple of months ago that when you are over weight it is hard for people who are not to understand what it is like to live in your head and she is on the same path as I am and understands the struggles. She also wants to participate in the half marathon I am working on so that will be a great plus for me. This week has been hard getting back on track after last week and working on losing that 1 lb (my trainer told me it is the muscle that I noticed I have now on my arms - good try Donna) and also staying focused on my goals but in all I WILL keep being motivated and now I have someone who will inspire me.

That's great that you found someone with much the same goals that you can work out with!

VERY COOL.
I keep telling myself that as soon as my daughter is in preschool and my schedule is more predictable I will SO have a workout friend again :)
