Over the last few weeks I have been jamming so much into my free time that I feel I don't have enough time for anything else. My top priorities right now are my family and the gym. I feel I am slacking on all the other stuff I need to do. I really love hanging out with my friends and just finding down time for me is something I strive for almost everyday.
Many of you might not know but I am a scheduler I schedule everything! My son makes fun of me because I can probably tell you what is on my calendar for the next 2 months ha! I have been trying to be a by the seat of my pants kind of person (it seems to work 50/50) but I am still drawn back to that darn schedule.
My attention span is very short (you better keep it or you lose out) and I find I get distracted a lot and that seems to be a problem for me. When I meet my goal (fingers crossed!) for the bday I am hoping this will change. But right now my priority has to be me and what I want to achieve.
One of my friends told me focus on you everything else will just have to wait and it is ok to be that way don't feel guilty and don't worry about it. I know she speaks true words but I still have that nagging feeling I need to schedule something lol!
Do you guys ever have this problem and what do you do?

I've just started blogging, but you touched on something that has been on my mind a lot the last few days. How do I justify writing on a blog when others want me to do something for them? Right now I feel guilty because I need to return several call but if I do it will eat in to my blogging time. And I'm a major list-maker/planner. I am actually trying to do less of that and more of what is right in front of me. I hope you get some answers and good suggestions. I just wanted to say I am right ther with ya!
I used to be a fly by the seat of my pants kind of person. I hated schedules and routines and predictability. That worked for me for a really long time but it just doesn't anymore. Maybe it's more responsibility or just too darn busy, I don't know. But now schedules and to-do lists are my life. I literally have just about everything written down in my planner. If it doesn't get written down odds are it's not going to happen.
man, I was such a flybyseat'er until we had our daughter and I decided it was a good idea to work, blog and not have day care :)
now Im list'y mcgee.
for now any way...
I'm there with ya!! I just made a post like this this morning actually. For me it's not a problem of fitting in friends, I can't and that's it. I just can't get a free hour with my 4 kids to get any me time.
