But what I really wanted to write about was something that helped pull me out of depression. Have you ever heard of mind movies? It's taking your vision board pictures, and affirmations and making a movie with background music that makes you happy. There is a program you can buy, but I just did it in Windows Movie Maker. Then you just watch it a couple times a day. Sounds silly, but it really does help.
If you don't have a vision board, or dream board, its pictures of things you want. The house you want, the car you want, the body you want, even the job you want. Then you attach positive affirmations as if you already have these things - I enjoy shopping for clothes, I feel great, I love my job, I make more money than ever before, etc....
Anyway, it helped me. I hope it helps you too.
Another thing that helps is nutrients. A big salad will make you feel better. A lack of nutrients can actually add to your feelings of depression, and we can't think straight. Make sure you're eating right and getting exercise and sleep. forget about the word diet. Focus on self care. Love and take care of yourself.
