Thanks to Donna my trainer for inspiring me to keep going on my journey - without her I would not be where I am today and I am so grateful. To anyone who is thinking of getting a trainer I 100% agree! Just do it - or work out with a friend or buddy and you will be glad you did. I know I am it has truly been worth it and I can say I am well on my way to the new me!

You GO GIRL!!!! Soooo proud of you.
I'm currently in France, so keeping with a strict diet is really tuff, but I just got back from a 5 mile walk.

Which diet are you one?

Fabulously40...I am so jealous you are in France. I intend on going one day!!!! I am not really on a "diet” just changed what I eat. Fruit is the big change I have made. Instead of dessert I have fruit and it really does make a difference. Thanks everyone for all of you kind comments.

Hooray! And be extra-impressed with yourself. Summer heat, and summer food can make it hard to stick to your healthy working out and eating plans.
But you are triumphant! Still making progress!

After reading your stories, I wanted to offer my congratulations - the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. It's often said but it's true. I started my own journey several months now after finding out that my blood pressure was so ridiculously high that it was frightening. My doctor started me on diuretics but I silently vowed to myself that I would get off those drugs - I was too young, in my opinion, to be on this kind of medication - I was only 50-years old.

Today, I exercise every day for at least 30-mins but always more. I enjoy running, bike riding, skipping, swimming in the Caribbean ocean when I'm there and walking. I also have a passion for learning about alternative, natural treatment for weight loss and diseases. I have written a book on the process that first got me on the path to success and that got me off my high blood pressure medication. I write a health and wellness blog that offers tips and information about all my learnings and findings for the benefit of others that care to make the lifestyle changes that are necessary to re-gain control of their health and wellness.

I salute you and encourage you to persevere. It takes time always remember that it took you years to get where you have been and it will take time to reverse it but it can be accomplished one day at a time.
