Last night I did not go to Zumba or work out with my trainer - I have been feeling really tired lately and I am not really sure if it is due to the surgery I had a couple of weeks ago or just so much going on in my life right now I am just run down and my energy level is zero. I kind of feel bad for not going to the gym since working out does make me feel a lot better in the long run but I am trying not to think about it.
Do you ever have those days that you are so tired that all you can think of is going to bed and nothing else?

Honey, there are MORNINGS I just feel too tired and want to go to bed! LOL Mind over matter is a tough thing. I can usually convince myself on those days that exercise will make me feel better, but some days (as you read in my last blog), I can't. ...sigh... I guess we're still works in progress. One day at a time...
Mara, I've been reading through some of your recent posts, and I just went back to read your very first post. Your story is so inspiring! Thanks so much for sharing yourself with others. And congratulations on all your achievements. Your hard work is REALLY paying off. Now get back to the gym! :)
Hi Mara! Rest and recoup is often the best recovery medicine! I just wanted to give you a heads up that (and maybe you have one) I nominated you for a Marie Antoinette real people/real blogs award. You deserve it! Check out my blog today to look at "rules" and about the award! Congrats!
Mara,
Hope you are ready to get to the gym again. Everyone has those days when they just can't do it...the key is to forgive yourself for the one day and then get back on track.
You are a real inspiration to a lot of people, including me.
yes. and I listen to my bod.
glad you took a break. whats the weekend hold? any restful moments for you?
working out does energize us as you said but, at times, it isnt what we need. perhaps sloooow stretching yoga or just a few moments of BEING PRESENT and still.
