This week has been such and eye opener for me.....PT is going ok but my ankle is still a little weak and I am unable to move forward with my exercises so I have been working overtime this weekend getting ready for next week so fingers crossed and good thoughts I am going to need them. I also have been working on getting my eating under control again and taking a lot thing out of my habits and putting the good things back in. It has been so hard for me to stay on track I am a bored eater. I eat when I am bored and being unable to go out just to go to the market is so frustrating for me and I can only watch so much TV I am so over all of it! I am ready to move forward and get myself back to where I was and then move on down to my goal. I know it is going to be such a challenge just to get back where I was before all of this but I am actually looking forward to walking again and just going back to the gym.
The thing I have learned the most from this experience is to never give up because if you do you will only disappoint yourself.

I really admire that you're working at getting what you can back on track. Just tonight, as I was taking my evening walk, I was thinking how an injury would really set me back. Being able to do something, rather than eat something has helped me many times lately. I can only imagine your frustration. I am very proud of you for trying to fight those habits.
Mara, I'm so glad you're back. I'm sorry you're still working with a bad ankle, but you're working it out and I'm so proud of you. It's good to hear your voice again.
I love the last statement. Very true. Perhaps you can do crafts when bored, instead of eating? :)
My fitness instructor always says listen to your body! So don't overdo it. You're working hard on your eating habits so don't be hard on yourself if you have to take the exercise a little easy.
I admire what you have achieve to date - you should be proud of yourself.
